We invite you to join us in meeting God in prayer! He calls us to approach Him confidently through our Savior Jesus, and so we can come before Him with our own gratitude and requests, as well as those of our congregation, city, and the world.
A weekly prayer group meets at 8:30am every Wednesday at the church office (though check the church calendar to confirm). If you would like prayer for a specific need, or if you are generally interested in participating, please email email@example.com for more details. All are welcome! If this time does not work for you but you are interested in prayer ministry, please also email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we may be able to put you in touch with other opportunities.
Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:15-16)
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! (Luke 11:9-13)
